Diwali, or Deepawali, is a festival that is awaited by every person who believes in Sanatan Dharma. This year also, the festival of Diwali is being celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm, but in the meantime, a lot of confusion regarding Laxmi Puja Subh Muhurat has arise due to Amavasya falling on two days.

The dilemma is whether this year Diwali will be celebrated on 31 October or 1 November. What will be the Laxmi Puja Shubh Muhurt, and when will Lakshmi Puja be done? So let’s get information about what will be the auspicious time for the worship of Lakshmi Mata.

Laxmi Puja Shubh Muhurt

As you know Lakshmi Puja always takes place on the night of Amavasya, on 31 October 2024, Amavasya Tithi will start from 3:22 pm to the next day, 1 November 2024, at 5:23 pm. Therefore, as you know, if Laxmi Ganesh Puja is done during Pradosh Kaal on Diwali, it is very auspicious.

Thus, according to Laxmi Puja Shubh Muhurt, on 31st October, there is a coincidence of both Amavasya Tithi and Pradosh Kaal, and this Amavasya night also gets Nishita Kaal, in which Maa Kali is worshiped. Thus, if we believe in the words of Astrologer Pankaj Jha Shastri, then the Shubh Muhurta for Diwali will be correct on 31st October.
